Tasting Notes: The 2023 La Sirena Cab is dark, inky garnet in color. Strong fruit aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and currant rise from the glass, accented with medium-toast French oak and hints of vanilla, licorice, and gravel. Across the palate, it’s velvety, dense and concentrated, with youthful tannins very present at this early stage. Intense and explosive flavors show tons of promise for the future of this wine as it develops and ages. One of our most concentrated vintages ever, the 2023 is a wine that will reward patience and truly start to shine in a few years’ time.
