The 2022 La Sirena Cab is a dark, inky berry color. Bold aromas rise from the glass with gorgeous fruit notes of ripe blackberry, dark cherry and ripe currants, layered with accents of French oak, tea leaves, hints of vanilla and baking spice, and minerality from this hillside vineyard’s volcanic soil. Across the palate it has beautiful structure, balance and velvety texture, layers of fruit with complexity, and a long, captivating finish. It’s a beauty now, but will continue to develop and expand in the bottle – we expect this wine to age for 20 years or more.
